But in reality, this approach is a dead end.<\/p><p class=\"p1\"><b>Too Many Choices = Lower Engagement<\/b><b><\/b><\/p><p class=\"p3\"><span class=\"s1\">In his book <i>Vos id\u00e9es de A \u00e0 Z<\/i>, <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/gnamouric\/\"><b>Ga\u00ebtan Namouric<\/b><\/a><span class=\"s1\"> explains a well-documented cognitive psychology phenomenon: <\/span><b>the more choices we have, the harder it is to make a meaningful decision<\/b><span class=\"s1\">.<\/span><\/p><p class=\"p3\"><span class=\"s1\">Applied to corporate training, this means that <\/span><b>having thousands of available courses does not guarantee employees will complete them<\/b><span class=\"s1\">. And guess what?<\/p><p class=\"p4\">The <span class=\"s2\"><b>most viewed course<\/b><\/span> was: <i>\u201cHow to Write a Resume.\u201d<\/i><i><\/i><\/p><p class=\"p4\">It\u2019s safe to say that these employees weren\u2019t updating their resumes to <span class=\"s2\"><b>apply for jobs within their own institution<\/b><\/span>. This speaks volumes about <span class=\"s2\"><b>the lack of engagement and the misalignment of training content<\/b><\/span> with real workforce needs.<\/p><p class=\"p1\"><b>A Structured Learning Path: The Key to Effective Training<\/b><b><\/b><\/p><p class=\"p4\">Instead of providing an <span class=\"s2\"><b>infinite buffet<\/b><\/span> of courses, a <span class=\"s2\"><b>targeted and structured approach<\/b><\/span> delivers far better results.
